Katharina Bleinis is a Clinical Mental Health Worker at Vancouver Coastal Health, where the primary focus is on supporting individuals in community reintegration and enhancing functional skills. In addition, Katharina serves as a Mental Health and Addictions Worker with Community Builders Group and an Employment Support Worker for the Canucks Autism Network, providing tailored guidance to autistic individuals. As a Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher, Katharina has extensive experience in teaching varied populations, delivering trauma-informed practices, and leading multiple retreats. With over 6000 teaching hours and certifications in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Katharina integrates trauma-informed approaches into practice. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University, a BA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and ongoing studies towards a Master’s in Counseling Psychology at City University of Seattle, along with a Certificate in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy from Langara College.
