Laura Turner

Laura Turner is a seasoned professional in development and communications, currently serving as the Director of Development and Communications at Open Door Legal since April 2020. In this role, Laura leads efforts to significantly increase annual revenue from $800,000 to over $5 million through diverse funding sources, while building and managing a skilled team to enhance donor relationships and implement effective fundraising strategies. Prior experiences include positions such as Manager of Strategic Growth and Donor Relations Specialist at City Church San Francisco, and Communications Coordinator at Fuller Theological Seminary. Laura holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Seattle Pacific University and two Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Government from Westmont College.
