Open Door Mission
Christopher Koch is a Clinical Intern at Open Door Mission since November 2022, providing individual therapy services and facilitating a weekly therapy group for women at the Lydia House. Previously, Christopher served as an Individual and Family Counselor at Woodward Academy from July 2010 to March 2023, offering counseling sessions to students while pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bellevue University. Christopher also held roles as Admissions Coordinator and Youth Counselor during this tenure. Christopher holds a Master of Arts in Criminology and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Northern Iowa.

Open Door Mission
Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Each day Open Door Mission’s campus offers 917 safe shelter beds to homeless men, women and children, serves over 3,500 nutritious meals and provides preventive measures to more than 275 people living in poverty. To meet the basic physical needs of the hungry and homeless, the Open Door Mission’s day facility services provide free transportation from the downtown area to Open Door Mission and Lydia House. Open Door Mission offers life-changing programs for those recovering from life-altering addictions and abuse to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
