Open Door Mission
Teresa Leishman is an experienced case manager currently working at Open Door Mission since April 2014, where responsibilities include assisting men in various recovery and support programs by identifying goals and developing life skills with a focus on a Christ-centered approach. Previous roles include serving as an Intensive Case Manager at Targeted Adult Service Coordination from February 2008 to January 2013, a Care Coordinator for the State of Nebraska from June 2006 to February 2008, and as Director of Family Services at Indian Center, Inc. from October 2003 to August 2006. Teresa Leishman holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Grace University and has prior education from Oral Roberts University.
Open Door Mission
Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Each day Open Door Mission’s campus offers 917 safe shelter beds to homeless men, women and children, serves over 3,500 nutritious meals and provides preventive measures to more than 275 people living in poverty. To meet the basic physical needs of the hungry and homeless, the Open Door Mission’s day facility services provide free transportation from the downtown area to Open Door Mission and Lydia House. Open Door Mission offers life-changing programs for those recovering from life-altering addictions and abuse to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
