Naseem Tarawnah

Naseem Tarawnah is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the Middle East and North Africa region. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist at IFEX since August 2019, Naseem also holds the position of Regional Editor for Akhbarek.com, a role initiated in January 2015 after co-founding the platform. Previous experience includes senior editorial roles at Front Row Publishing and Media Services, and co-founding 7iber, where Naseem contributed to various nonprofit social media projects. An alumnus of York University, Naseem earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies between 2001 and 2006.
