Shahily Garcia

Shahily Garcia began their career in 2009 as a Senior HR Consultant at Deloitte, DR, where they created Learning & Development programs tailored to the needs of each organization and partnered with Universities and Colleges working on mentorship programs, placements, career events and workshops. In 2015, they took a role as Head of Management Systems and Operations at IFEX while also taking on a Recruitment Advisor role at Garda World. In this role, they were responsible for sourcing/recruiting candidates to fill pre-board screening officer positions in Pearson Airport and played a leading role liaising with Learning and Development department to support on-board orientation and training sessions of new hires with CATSA. In 2018, Shahily was appointed Clinic Director and Human Resources Advisor at Massage Addict.

Shahily Garcia completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at PONTIFICIA UNIVERSIDAD CATOLICA MADRE Y MAESTRA from 1995 to 1999. Shahily then attended Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo from 2000 to 2001, where they earned a degree in Human Resources Management. Finally, they attended York University from 2014 to 2015, also earning a degree in Human Resources Management.
