Dorothy Moulthrop

Dorothy Moulthrop, PhD, is a seasoned educational leader currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Program Officer at Open Doors Academy since January 2019, where Dorothy directs out-of-school programming for over 550 middle and high school scholars across Greater Cleveland. Moulthrop has extensive experience as a consultant since May 2018, aiding schools and educational leaders through professional development and strategic initiatives. Previously, Moulthrop held roles including Vice President of Client Engagement at the Educational Partnerships Institute, and Director of Curriculum Design and Faculty Development at Hawken School, where key contributions included curricular innovation and teacher development. Moulthrop's educational background includes a PhD in Education Policy and Administration from The Ohio State University and a Master's in Literacy from Ursuline College, alongside significant teaching roles in English and literacy across various schools.
