Liam O'Riordan has an extensive work history in the telecommunications industry. Liam currently holds the position of Head of Network Propositions at open eir, where they are responsible for driving the efficient operation of wholesale products and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Programme, overseeing key initiatives within the company. Before joining open eir, O'Riordan worked at nbn™ Australia as a Team Leader, where they managed a team responsible for activating customer services on the national broadband network. Liam also gained experience at Vodafone Australia as a Senior Transmission Engineer, where they played a critical role in transforming the transmission network to support new services. O'Riordan began their career at Ericsson as a Senior Transmission Integration Engineer and later worked at KTL as a Telecoms Engineer technical lead, where they led the delivery of wireless leased line products for Three Ireland.
Liam O'Riordan completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronic Engineering at Dublin City University from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Aided Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the same institution, from 2006 to 2007.
