Jay Haran is an accomplished data professional currently serving as a Data Strategist at bp since January 2024 and also working as a Data Scientist at Open Energi since February 2023. Previously, Jay held the title of Data Scientist at Second Nature from March 2020 to December 2022 and gained experience as a Quantitative Analytics Intern at Olam in 2018. Jay started the professional journey in operations at Goodlord in 2017. Academic credentials include an MSc in Data Science from UCL and a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Nottingham, complemented by an exchange semester at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and participation in the Study China Programme at Zhejiang University.
