Gregory Lotigie

Head of Trading at Open Energy Market

Gregory Lotigie has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry. Gregory started their career in 1999 at Enron Energy Services as a Power Settlements employee. In 2000, they moved to Enron Broadband Services as a Sales Engineer. From 2002 to 2006, they worked at BKW Energie AG as a Short-Term Power Trader, and then at Citiworks AG and Sempra Energy in the same role. In 2007, Lotigie joined Lehman Brothers as a Power Trader, and then Shell in 2008. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at GFI Group as a Power Broker. Since 2019, Lotigie has been the Head of Trading at Open Energy Market.

Gregory Lotigie obtained their French Baccalaureate from Lycée privé de Marcq-en-Baroeul between 1981 and 1991. Gregory then went on to earn a B.A. (Hons) in European Business Administration from Middlesex University between 1991 and 1993. Following this, they obtained a Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures Européennes de Management from Centre d’Etudes Supérieures Européennes de Management between 1993 and 1995. Finally, they earned a 3eme cycle ‘Management des Banques et des Institutions Financières’ from Université de Sciences Economiques de Lille between 1995 and 1996. In addition, they have obtained a number of certifications, including a Cisco Certified Network Associate in October 2001, a Cisco Certified Design Associate in February 2001, an SFA Securities Representative in June 1998, and an SFA Futures & Options Representative in October 1997.
