Domenico Angotti

Domenico Angotti has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Domenico started their career at THALES ALENIA SPACE as a Trainee in 1995. Domenico then joined Telecom Italia in 1996 as a Network Engineer. In 1998, they moved to TIM Brasil and became the Network Regional Director and Head of Radio Network Engineering until 2006. Domenico returned to Telecom Italia as the International Network Manager from 2006 to 2008. Following that, they worked at TIM Brasil as the CTO Planning & Control Senior Manager from 2008 to 2010. Domenico then held various roles at Telecom Italia, including Global Network Innovation Technology Manager from 2010 to 2012 and Global Network Mobile Core Manager from 2012 to 2016. Currently, they are employed at Open Fiber, where they have held positions as Head of Engineering since December 2016 and as the Head of Active Network Engineering since July 2023.

Domenico Angotti pursued their education with a strong focus on telecommunications engineering. Domenico obtained their MS degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma, completing their studies from 1988 to 1995.
