Gianmarco Sorge

Gianmarco Sorge is a Technical Support Specialist at Open Fiber since March 2018, focusing on SOC, Area Network, and Operations, providing 2nd and 3rd line support while collaborating with suppliers and R&D on network issues. Previously, Gianmarco worked at Telecom Italia from September 2013 to February 2018, initially as a 2nd Tier engineer in the transmission department and later in 1st Level support for wholesale customers, managing aspects of bandwidth operations and submarine cable infrastructure. Prior experience includes a role at Telecom Italia Sparkle from October 2011 to August 2013 in similar support capacities and a consulting position at Ericsson in 2011 for a virtualization project. Gianmarco is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management at Università Telematica Internazionale UNINETTUNO and holds a Post Graduate Class in Cloud Computing and Networking from Consorzio ELIS, along with a qualification in Electrical and Telecommunication from ITIS Sen. O. Jannuzzi.
