Rob Atkinson

Rob is responsible for establishing and implementing best practices for OGC publication of semantic resources and manages the OGC Definitions Server on behalf of the OGC Naming Authority. Rob holds a MSc(Hons) by Research in Computing Science from Wollongong University and has worked in academia, heavy industry, NGOs, consulting to government and the private sector startups implementing distributed systems. Rob was a co-author on WMS 1.0, initial leader of the Observations and Measurements development and has been engaged with the leading edge of OGC and W3C interoperability initiatives since 1998.
