Velu Sinha

Velu Sinha is the current Director at Open Geospatial Consortium. Velu has previously worked as a Principal at Bain & Company, a Senior Director at BroadBand Office, and a Vice President at Capital Technologies. Velu also has experience as a Product Manager at Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. and as a Founder at Wedge, Inc.

Sinha’s focus has been developing platforms and solutions, including APIs, SDKs, and third party ISV / Services/ and Channel partners for Geographical Information Systems, Document & Records Management, and High Performance Computing solutions. Velu has experience with Intel i860 based systems from their time at Oki Microsystems.

Velu Sinha received their MBA from Harvard Business School in 1982.
