Kai Elmer Sotto

Kai Elmer Sotto is an experienced advisor and co-founder with a robust background in technology and community building. Currently serving as an Advisor for Open Government Products since October 2022, Sotto contributes to the Singapore government's experimental development team focused on enhancing public welfare through technology. As an Advisor at Substack since March 2021, Sotto supports writer success after the acquisition of People & Company, which Sotto co-founded in November 2016. Additionally, Sotto has held advisory roles at Wavemaker Partners and played significant growth roles at Instagram and Facebook, focusing on international expansion and business development in the Asia Pacific region. Sotto obtained a BA in Economics from the University of Toronto between 1990 and 1994.
