Rachel Tan

Rachel Tan is a seasoned professional in product design and user experience, currently serving as a Senior Product Designer at Open Government Products since October 2022. Previously, Rachel contributed academic insights as an Adjunct Lecturer in Design Innovation at Singapore Institute of Technology from July 2022 to April 2024, and held senior roles at Foolproof as a Senior User Experience Designer and Experience Designer between June 2020 and October 2022. Early career experiences include positions as an Interaction Designer & Design Engineer at STUCK DESIGN, an Industrial Design Intern, and various design-related internships at Landor, SE3D, We Are Perspective, and the Ministry of Education in Singapore. Rachel holds a Master's degree in the Renaissance Engineering Programme (Mechanical Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and has engaged in studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
