Emily Clark

Emily Clark, PhD, CMPP has a rich work experience, starting their career as a Research Postgraduate in Medical and Biological Engineering at the University of Leeds from September 2011 to October 2015. Emily then served as a Research Fellow at the same institution from January 2016 to October 2018. Afterwards, they joined OPEN Health in January 2019 as a Medical Writer, progressing to the role of Senior Medical Writer from September 2020 to July 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Medical Writer at OPEN Health, starting in July 2022.

Emily Clark, PhD, CMPP obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds in 2010. Emily then pursued further education at the same institution, earning a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from 2011 to 2013. Emily Clark continued their studies at the University of Leeds, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering in 2015. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) certification from ISMPP (International Society for Medical Publication Professionals) in December 2023. In 2015, they also received the Job Competency: Continuous Learning certification from CareerClover.
