Jamie Toalston, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of scientific innovation and education. They have served in various roles at different companies, with a primary focus on pharmaceutical industry support. Jamie has led projects as a Scientific Director, providing flexible support for pharmaceutical companies across a wide range of topics such as cardiology, neurology, oncology, and dermatology. They have also served as a Senior Director and Director of Scientific Innovation at FORCE Communications, overseeing multiple accounts and managing development of supporting teams. Additionally, Jamie has worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Indiana University School of Medicine, conducting basic research into the neurobiological bases of alcoholism and serving as a director of research projects. They have also served as a Laboratory Manager and Director of Operations, managing laboratory technicians and overseeing study logistics.
Jamie Toalston, PhD, obtained a B.A. degree in Biology and Psychology from Coe College in 2002. Subsequently, from 2004 to 2008, they pursued an M.S. in Psychology from Indiana University Indianapolis. Their education journey culminated with a Ph.D. in the Psychobiology of Addictions (later renamed Addiction Neuroscience) from Purdue University, which they completed from 2008 to 2011.
