Silvana Bardelli

Silvana Bardelli, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of medical communications, currently serving as Scientific Director at OPEN Health. Bardelli has contributed to the PM Society as a member of the Patient Engagement Interest Group, and has held the position of Scientific Lead at PHASE II. Additionally, expertise in advanced therapies is demonstrated through a role as Subject Matter Expert at emotive, alongside experience as a Senior Medical Writer. Bardelli has a background with the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) as a Young European Assessor. Educational credentials include a post-doctoral degree in Cell and Gene Therapy from Harvard Medical School, as well as a PhD in Human Molecular Genetics and Cytogenetics from the University of Insubria, Varese, Italy.
