Kristin LaBuz possesses extensive experience in leadership and development within various organizations, currently serving as the Executive Director at Open House New York since January 2018, with prior roles including Interim Executive Director and Deputy Director. Previous positions include working at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene on Active Design initiatives, leading as Director of Individual Giving & Special Events at the New York Restoration Project, and managing marketing and events at the DUMBO Improvement District. Kristin has also been involved in community leadership through a fellowship at Coro New York Leadership Center and held a position as Development and Communications Associate at Design Trust for Public Space. Kristin began a career as an Analyst at Fairmount Ventures. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies and Communications from Case Western Reserve University.
