Louise Harpman

Louise Harpman serves as a Professor of Architecture, Urban Design, and Sustainability at New York University since October 2010, where also holds the role of Co-Founder and Co-Director of Global Design NYU. In addition, Louise Harpman is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of openEARTHstudio and the founder and principal of Louise Harpman__PROJECTS, focusing on urban design and architectural research. Prior experience includes serving as Principal and Founding Partner at Specht Harpman, an award-winning architecture firm, and as Associate Professor and Associate Dean at the University of Texas at Austin. Educational credentials include degrees from Harvard University, Yale University, and the University of Cambridge. Louise Harpman has contributed to various boards related to architecture and design, notably at AIA Austin and the Design Trust for Public Space.
