OpenLance is a next-generation freelance marketplace connecting businesses with skilled professionals worldwide.

Built by freelancers for freelancers
OpenLance is designed to solve many of the challenges that exist in traditional freelance platforms.

Our core philosophy is simple: empower talent, reduce unnecessary costs, and create a fair, transparent environment where both clients and freelancers can thrive.

Unlike conventional marketplaces that charge high commissions on every project
OpenLance operates on a freelancer-first business model with 0% commission on earnings. Freelancers keep what they earn, without worrying about hidden fees or losing a percentage of their income. Instead of relying on commissions, OpenLance uses a transparent model that includes optional subscriptions and bid packs, allowing freelancers to choose how they engage with the platform based on their needs.

This approach benefits both sides of the marketplace. Freelancers can price their services more competitively and retain more of their income, while clients gain access to high-quality talent without inflated project costs. By removing expensive bidding wars and unnecessary fees, OpenLance creates a more balanced and efficient ecosystem where work is awarded based on skill, experience, and value.

Our platform supports project-based work with features designed to build trust and ensure smooth collaboration. These include milestone funding, secure contracts, escrow protection, real-time messaging, reviews, and advanced talent discovery tools. Clients can confidently hire knowing their funds are protected, while freelancers can work with assurance that payments are secured.

Whether you're a business looking to hire top talent or a professional seeking your next opportunity, OpenLance is built to make freelancing more transparent, efficient, and rewarding for everyone involved.
