Tyler Shemwell

Tyler Shemwell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of database administration. Tyler is currently working at Open Lending as a Lead Database Administrator since October 2022, following previous roles as a Database Administrator and Junior Database Administrator. Prior to that, Tyler worked at SecurityCoverage, Inc. as a Junior Database Administrator, where they were responsible for maintaining MySQL database systems and assisting in database architecture design. Tyler also worked as a GIS Data Technician at Keller Schroeder, focusing on reviewing, modifying, and organizing company documents in Vectren's OnBase database. Additionally, Tyler gained experience as a Data Warehouse Intern at OneMain, where they assisted in developing and maintaining database and ETL systems. Tyler started their career as a Marchandiser at Lewis Brothers Bakery and worked as a Sandwich Artist at Subway.

Tyler Shemwell earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Southern Indiana, where they attended from 2012 to 2016. Tyler also holds a certification in Information Systems Analyst (ISA) from ICCP.
