Eric Ijpelaar

Eric IJpelaar serves as the Chief Information Security & Privacy Officer at Open Line since March 2020, overseeing security and privacy initiatives within the organization and supporting customers with governance decisions. As an Advisor for Information Security & Privacy at Stichting LVO since March 2018, Eric has successfully redesigned policies and procedures to ensure GDPR compliance. Eric also owns SIT bc, focusing on developing security consultancy services. Prior roles include Strategic Advisor for Information Security at gemeente Rotterdam and various positions at B-Able, Haagse Hogeschool Zoetermeer, Traxion, and DSM, where Eric managed global information security functions, developed security services, and implemented significant security projects. Education includes a Master of Business Administration from Eindhoven University of Technology and completion of the Leergang Toezichthouder at Ebbinge.
