Colby Richins

Colby Richins has extensive experience in the mechanical and technical fields, currently serving as a Product Sales and Support representative at Open Loop Energy since December 2021. Prior roles include Diesel Technician at Empire Cat, where Colby worked from June 2021 to December 2021, and Crusher Mechanic at Freeport-McMoRan from September 2018 to June 2021. Previous positions also include Diesel Mechanic at Ames Construction and a long tenure as a Diesel Technician at Empire Cat. Colby completed an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from Mesa Community College and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in medium/heavy equipment technician through the Caterpillar Think-Big Apprentice Program, both from 2014 to 2016.
