Shahanaaz Soumah

Shahanaaz Soumah started their work experience in 2018 as a Facility Assistant at Mount St. Mary's University, where they worked until May 2019. In 2021, they joined Mount St. Mary's University again, this time as an Equity Coordinator. In this role, Shahanaaz developed and implemented a pre-orientation program for first-year students, managed event planning and budget creation for a "Welcome Week" event, and designed and implemented diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives for student orientations. Shahanaaz also has experience as a Tutor at Grade Potential Tutoring, starting in May 2021. Currently, Shahanaaz is working as a Market Research Associate at OPEN MINDS Circle, starting in March 2023.

Shahanaaz Soumah received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Conflict, Peace, and Social Justice from Mount St. Mary's University. Shahanaaz attended the university from 2018 to 2022.
