Ricardo Tombi

Ricardo Tombi is a seasoned professional with 28 years of extensive experience in the telecommunications and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a consultant engineer at RNP and as an ambassador for the Open Networking Foundation in Brazil, Ricardo also holds the position of graduate coordinator at Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia and works as a professor and researcher at various institutions, including Universidade São Judas Tadeu. Previous roles include Global Services Director at British Telecommunications, Network Engineer and Team Leader at HP, and Operational Support and Deployment Manager for Optical Networks at NetTest. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Engineering and an MBA from esteemed institutions such as USP and FGV, along with ongoing doctoral studies in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications at USP.
