Tom Bates

Tom Bates is an experienced production coordinator with a diverse background in television and film production. Currently serving as a production coordinator at Open Planet since July 2024, Tom's previous roles include coordinating productions for notable projects such as "David Attenborough: Ocean" at SILVERBACK FILMS and "Our Water World" for Netflix. With a career spanning various companies, including Plimsoll, Endemol Shine UK, and Workerbee, Tom has contributed to projects for major networks such as BBC, Channel 4, and Disney+. Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Production from Leeds Beckett University and has foundational education from Wiltshire College and Beechen Cliff School.
