Patrick Teng is a Director, Engineering at Open Raven. Patrick has over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on creating robust and scalable back-end systems.

Patrick started their career at Triton Water Technologies, where they spent 9 years working on a variety of water treatment projects. In 2010, they created Simon Saves 1.0, a water conservation platform that was adopted by the East Bay Municipal Utility District. In 2014, they created a smart meter ETL process for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. In 2015, they co-founded Simon Saves, LLC and created the Water Tracker platform for the City of Beverly Hills.

In 2017, Patrick left Triton to join TrueCar, Inc. as an Engineer III. At TrueCar, they led the creation of an invoicing pipeline from Salesforce into Workday ERP. Patrick also created credit card and ACH processing between Salesforce and Authorize.net. Patrick left TrueCar in 2019 to join Flowspace as a Senior Software Engineer. At Flowspace, they focused on creating a GraphQL API. Patrick left Flowspace in 2020 to join Open Raven as a Senior Software Engineer.

Patrick Teng has a degree in history from the University of California, Davis. Before that, they attended Arcadia High School.

Patrick Teng reports to Oliver Ferrigni, Director of Engineering. They work with Matthew Daniel - Principal Software Engineer, Mark Gable - Senior Software Engineer, and Ranjeewa Weerasinghe - Senior Software Engineer.
