Ryan Gariepy

Ryan Gariepy is an accomplished leader in robotics, currently serving as Vice President of Robotics at Rockwell Automation since July 2025, where responsibilities include overseeing the Rockwell Robotics Center of Excellence and directing various robotics initiatives across the organization. In addition, Ryan is the Chair of the Canadian Robotics Council, advocating for robotics-driven economic development in Canada, and a Board Member at Open Robotics, focusing on strategic guidance and long-term planning. Previously, Ryan held roles as CTO at Clearpath Robotics and OTTO, and co-founded Clearpath Inc., contributing to product strategy and engineering management. Ryan's early career included positions as a Robotics Software Developer and Hardware Engineering Team Member, complemented by advanced degrees in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
