Julian McCrea

Julian McCrea has a wealth of experience in the digital industry. In 2019, they Co-Founded Open Sesame Media, a B2B platform and tools business making applications to increase social connection in the New Normal, using 5G technology. In 2018, they Co-Founded Lucid XR, a predictive diagnostics platform built upon game-changing innovation in volumetric visualization and application of AI and machine learning. Julian also Co-Founded Virtual Film School in 2018. In 2016, they became the CEO of Portal Experiences, a virtual reality non-fiction entertainment company that finances, produces and distributes original IP. In 2010, they became the CEO of Portal Entertainment. In 2007, they were a Digital Strategist/Senior User Experience Architect for VML London (formerly gt). In 2005, they were a User Experience Architect for Spring Digital, where they created inventive digital strategies for information rich, transactional, e-commerce, intranet and social community websites.

Julian McCrea attended the University of Southampton from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a BSc in Economics and Philosophy. Prior to this, they attended Trinity School.
