Osman Nasir

Osman Nasir has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting from 2009, they worked as the Country Manager and later as the Head of Product and Strategy at C-COR Broadband Australia. In 2013, they co-founded Leap Media and served as the Chief Strategy Officer, leading the development of Pakistan's first licensed online video platform, Tune TV.

In 2013, they also joined Integrated Units (Pvt) Limited as a Director on the advisory board, where they focused on developing new products and Platform-as-a-Service solutions for international markets.

From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Business Development and Strategy Consultant, where they managed partnerships with AWS Australia and developed a technology roadmap for a construction management SaaS platform.

In 2020, they became the Managing Director of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), where they exceeded the yearly national IT/ITeS export growth target by achieving 81% growth.

Following this, they held advisory roles at multiple companies, including Aletheia Technologies, Mahaana Wealth, and Kistpay (Private) Limited, where they played a significant role in developing partnerships and advising on growth and strategic partnerships.

Currently, they are working as the Executive Vice President Pakistan Affairs at OPEN Silicon Valley, leading demand generation for tech companies and startups and representing the organization in government and technology diplomacy matters.

Osman Nasir's education history includes obtaining an MBA in International Business & Trade Economics from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 2005-2006. Osman also received a Certificate in Negotiations and Influence from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2018-2019 and a Certificate in Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation & Applications from the same institution in 2018. Their undergraduate degree, a B.E in I.T with a specialization in Telecommunications, was earned from Hamdard University from 1998-2002.
