Tie Valiant

Tie Valiant has over a decade of work experience, primarily in project management roles. They have a strong background in cloud security professional services and have successfully led teams in defining, building, and managing global professional services functions. Key responsibilities in their most recent role as a Sr Manager of Project Management at Ontinue included providing leadership and strategic direction to project teams for successful delivery of complex, large-scale projects, as well as working closely with sales and presales engineering teams to build customer confidence. Prior to that, Tie held the position of Senior Manager, Security Project Management Lead at Open Systems, where they provided project leadership on Microsoft Cloud Solutions projects and worked collaboratively with business partners and technical teams. They also have experience in associate project management at Green House Data, where they managed project initiatives of various sizes and provided hands-on support through the full project management life cycle. Additionally, Tie worked as the Director of Administrative Services at Revera Inc. and as a Project Coordinator at J. Wray & Nephew.

Tie Valiant, PMP completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Humber College in 2015. In 2018, they also obtained a CAPM certification from PMI. Prior to that, Tie Valiant earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Management Studies from Northern Caribbean University between 2009 and 2014. Additionally, they have certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in September 2023.
