Craig Parr has extensive experience in senior roles within the education and technology sectors. Craig is currently the Head of Partnerships & Marketing at Open Universities Australia, where they are responsible for driving growth and meeting the needs of students and partners. Prior to this, they were the Head of Partnerships at Open Universities Australia, where they successfully expanded the marketplace participation by building high-performing teams.
Before joining Open Universities Australia, Craig worked at Kineo, a global workplace learning technology company. Craig held roles such as Head of Strategic Partnerships, where they established a new channel partnerships function in the Asia Pacific region, and Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific, where they led digital demand generation programs and integrated three business units into a single regional unit.
Craig also has experience in the higher education sector, having worked as the Communications & Marketing Manager at the University of South Australia, where they repositioned the Health Sciences marketing function and promoted research impact. Additionally, they held marketing roles at Exova Group Limited, a global testing, inspection, and certification company, and Preston College.
Earlier in their career, Craig worked as an External Liaison Officer at the University of Central Lancashire and as a Marketing Executive at HP.
Craig Parr obtained a BA Marketing & Management Degree with Honours from the University of Central Lancashire, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Runshaw College from 1997 to 1999 and earned a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General. In terms of additional certifications, Craig obtained a Market Insights certification from City & Guilds Group in August 2019, a Horizon Scanner certification from the same institution in September 2018, and an MCIM certification from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in July 2021.
