L. Brooke Powers

L. Brooke Powers has a diverse work experience in the field of education. L. Brooke started their career at Fayette County Public Schools in 2010 as an Educational Consultant and worked there until 2019. In 2018, they joined Open Up Resources, a nonprofit organization focused on developing high-quality curricula for districts. At Open Up Resources, they held various roles including Managing Director for Academics Equity & Social Justice, Director of Professional Learning, and Community Manager.

L. Brooke Powers earned a Master's degree in Teacher Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University. L. Brooke attended the university from 2012 to 2014.
