Militza M. Stair is an experienced education professional with a diverse background in program development and leadership within various educational organizations. Currently serving as Regional Development Manager at Open Up Resources since November 2022, Militza previously held positions such as Director of Alumni Affairs at YES Prep Public Schools and Director at IDEA Public Schools, where Militza successfully launched impactful programs to enhance educational opportunities for students. Militza also served as Senior Managing Director of After School Programs and Director of Alumni Impact at Teach For America, gaining valuable skills in community outreach and relationship building. Early in the career, Militza taught AP Spanish Language and Literature at KIPP Houston, developing comprehensive language acquisition curricula. Militza holds a Master's degree in Spanish Language and Cultures from Universidad de Salamanca and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
