Tom Loschiavo

Tom Loschiavo has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tom currently holds the position of Director of Product at Open Up Resources, where they collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute product strategies. Tom monitors the quality and impact of curriculum products and services. Previously, Tom worked at Great Minds as the Director of Product Management, Science, overseeing the entire PhD Science portfolio and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Tom also served as a Product Manager, Science at Great Minds, where they guided the development and launch of curriculum products. Before that, Tom worked at PASCO scientific as an Education/Product Manager, focusing on creating STEM products and activities for educators worldwide. Tom's earlier experience includes teaching roles as a Chemistry instructor at Moorestown High School, Hamilton High School, and Holy Ghost Prep, where they developed curriculum, designed laboratory experiments, and integrated technology as a teaching tool.

Tom Loschiavo obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The College of New Jersey from 1992 to 1996. Tom then pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemistry Education at the University of Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2002.

In terms of additional certifications, Tom attended the ASU+GSV Summit in April 2023. Tom also obtained the Foundations of Accessible Elearning certification from LinkedIn in April 2023. Prior to that, they acquired certifications in Operations Management Foundations and Process Improvement Foundations from LinkedIn in September 2022. Furthermore, in August 2022, Tom completed the Google Universal Analytics Essential Training through LinkedIn. Tom also obtained several certifications in May 2022, including Agile Project Leadership, Agile: It's Not Just for Software, Executive Leadership, Leading Strategically, and Product Management: Building a Product Strategy, all through LinkedIn.
