Christa Alport

Christa Alport has over 16 years of experience in the finance and accounting industry. Christa began their career as a Designated Professional at MNP in 2005, where their responsibilities included the planning and completion of financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations. In 2008, they moved to Katz Group as a Financial Controller. From 2014 to 2021, they held various roles at Alport Consulting Ltd, DesignCrowd, Willow, Reinventure Group and Doorsteps Group, including Head of Finance, Project Manager, Finance Transformation Consultant, Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, Head of People & Business Operations, Head of Business Operations, Company Secretary, and Financial Controller. Currently, Christa is the Head of Finance at Doorsteps Group.

Christa Alport attended the University of Alberta from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting. Christa then attended CICA, Chartered Accountant School of Business, and obtained a Chartered Accountant certification from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Christa also completed a Controllership program.
