Aaron Hurst

Aaron Hurst is a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI as of April 2023, previously serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Google from March 2021 to March 2023. From September 2011 to March 2021, Aaron held various positions at Synopsys Inc, including Senior Manager of Software Engineering and Senior Staff Software Engineer, following the acquisition of Coverity in 2014. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Scientist at Cadence Design Systems from January 2008 to September 2011. Aaron earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley (2002-2008) and an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (1998-2002).
