August Longino

August Longino is a Physician Scientist at Denver Health, where responsibilities include leading multiple NIH-funded clinical studies focused on innovative ultrasound techniques for managing sepsis, cardiac dysfunction, and hemorrhage. Previous experience includes roles as a Medical Doctor providing care at MIDTOWN INPATIENT MEDICINE PROFESSIONAL LLC, and as a Medical Programs Coordinator with Timmy Global Health, directing medical brigades and coordinating patient referrals in Ecuador. August also served as a Research Assistant at the University of Utah, analyzed microbial DNA samples, and completed an Internal Medicine residency at University of Colorado Medicine, contributing to research during the program. Throughout an academic journey that includes a BA in International Relations from Tufts University and an MD/MPH from the University of Washington, August has developed a passion for improving health outcomes in underserved communities, particularly in Latin America, and is currently leveraging expertise as a Medical AI Consultant at OpenAI.
