Ben Bartlett

Ben Bartlett is a highly skilled professional in the fields of quantum computing and applied physics, currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since February 2024, focusing on compute graph optimizations. Previously, Ben held the position of Quantum Computer Architect at PsiQuantum, where contributions included developing system architecture for scalable, fault-tolerant photonic quantum computers. Ben has an extensive academic background, having completed a PhD in Applied Physics and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Computer Science from the California Institute of Technology. Additional experiences include roles as an AI Resident at X, an engineering intern in quantum networks at AT&T Palo Alto Foundry, and various student researcher positions, including work at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, Caltech, and CERN.
