Davis Robertson

Davis Robertson is currently a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI, a position held since October 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer in Self-Driving Visualization at Rivian from April 2022 to November 2023, where Davis led the development of Argos, an internal tool that significantly reduced costs by replacing an expensive existing solution. Prior roles include Head of Research and Development at Robotic Materials Inc. from May 2018 to February 2022, managing a NASA SBIR grant for autonomous robotic systems on the Gateway Space Station, and contributing as a Robotics Engineer, focusing on robot vision and algorithms for analyzing point cloud data. Additionally, an internship at Broadcom Limited provided hands-on experience in designing thermal test fixtures for RF filter chips. Davis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
