Elizabeth Yang

Elizabeth Yang is a member of the Technical Staff at OpenAI since July 2023, previously serving as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon Web Services from September to December 2022 and as a Research Intern at IBM during two separate tenures in 2021 and 2022. Elizabeth started a career as a Software Engineer at Two Sigma and gained academic experience as an Undergraduate Course Assistant at Princeton University and a Quantitative Research Intern at AQR Capital Management. Elizabeth's early research was supported by the NSF as a student at DIMACS. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Princeton University, along with a brief study as a visiting student at the University of Oxford. A high school diploma was obtained from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South.
