Fotios Fotis Chantzis

Fotios Chantzis has work experience spanning years in multiple companies and roles. Fotios (Fotis) has worked as a Security Engineer at OpenAI since 2020. Fotios (Fotis) was the Ncrack Maintainer and Network Security Researcher at Nmap from 2015. As a Principal Information Security Engineer at Mayo Clinic from 2016, they managed and conducted manual security assessments and vulnerability research on medical devices and other systems. Fotios (Fotis) has authored and published a video course on Mastering Nmap at Packt. At CENSUS S.A. from 2015, they worked as a Computer Security Researcher conducting manual security assessments and penetration tests for clients worldwide and developed tools for exploitation of special-purpose network protocols. Fotios (Fotis) has also worked as an Information Security Engineer at Cyber Defence Directorate, Hellenic National Defense General Staff. As a Co-founder, Cloud Engineer, and Software Engineer, they worked at PrimaVista and Lesspaper, developing back-end cloud infrastructure and Android application demos, respectively. Finally, they have experience working as a Computer and Information Engineer at the Computer Engineering & Informatics Department, University of Patras.

Fotios (Fotis) Chantzis received their high school education at 1st Ilioupoli high school in Athens, Greece from 2002 to 2005. Fotios (Fotis) then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Engineering at the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of the University of Patras in Greece from 2005 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Fotios obtained various certifications including the Offensive Security Certified Expert - OSCE from Offensive Security in August 2018, the CISSP from (ISC)² in March 2018, and the Offensive Security Certified Professional - OSCP from Offensive Security in July 2017.
