Ilya Kostrikov

Ilya Kostrikov has experience working as a Research Scientist at OpenAI since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley from 2021 to 2023. Ilya also worked as a Research Intern at Google in 2018 and 2016, and at Facebook in 2017. In 2015, they were a Research Intern at Google's Mobile Vision group.

Ilya Kostrikov completed their education in three different schools. Ilya earned their Specialist degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Ilya pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Media Informatics from RWTH Aachen University, which they completed from 2011 to 2014. Finally, Ilya completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from New York University between the years 2016 and 2021.
