Jay C.

Jay C. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in leading technology teams and developing experimentation platforms. Currently a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since December 2023, Jay previously held the position of Director of Engineering at ByteDance, where leadership extended over an extensive Experimentation Platform team servicing multiple high-profile internal brands and external customers. Prior to that, Jay was a Senior Engineering Manager at Meta, overseeing the Experimentation Platform Team for Facebook, and played key roles at Landing AI, Uber, and LinkedIn, where significant contributions included building and scaling engineering teams and platforms. Jay also has a solid academic background, holding a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Peking University.
