Kayla Thomas

Kayla Thomas has a wide range of experience in the fields of HR and talent acquisition. Kayla began their career as a student manager of marketing at San Francisco State University before becoming a social media intern at Present Co. Later, they worked as a social media specialist at CAMP Collection and The 2 Bandits. Kayla then shifted to HR and talent acquisition roles, starting as People & Culture Coordinator for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and then People & Talent Coordinator for the Global Expansion team at JUUL Labs. Their experience in HR and talent acquisition continued with their roles as HR Coordinator for Alto Pharmacy, HRIS Administrator at Pantheon Platform, and Talent Acquisition Coordinator at LiveRamp. Kayla is currently a Recruiting Coordinator at OpenAI. In their HR positions, Thomas demonstrated their skills in using software such as Greenhouse, Paylocity, and Excel to manage data and streamline HR processes. Kayla also developed strong project management skills by managing candidate pipelines for multiple recruiters and organizing virtual onboarding sessions for new employees.

Kayla Thomas completed their high school education at Vista High School from 2010 to 2014. Following their high school education, they attended San Francisco State University from 2014 to 2018 and obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Kayla also has a certification in CPR.
