Mark J

Mark J has a diverse work experience in the field of corporate security and risk management. Mark is currently the Director of Corporate Security at OpenAI. Prior to that, they founded RiskArmor, LLC and provided corporate security consulting services. Mark also worked at Twitter, where they held various roles including Director of Corporate Security/Risk and Head of Crisis Management. Before working in the private sector, Mark J had a long career in law enforcement, serving as a Supervisory Special Agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and as a State Trooper at the New York State Police.

Mark J has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies from the University at Buffalo. Prior to attending university, they attended Canisius High School. Mark also studied Pre-Engineering at Erie Community College. In terms of additional certifications, Mark J obtained a certification from the Stanford Leadership School at Stanford University in August 2019. Mark also earned a certification from the Stanford Design School at Stanford University in January 2016. Additionally, Mark J has certifications as a Certified SWAT Operator and an FBI Firearms Instructor from the FBI, obtained in March 2003 and January 1999, respectively.
