Michael Flanagan

Michael Flanagan is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Head of HR | International at OpenAI since June 2025. Flanagan also holds the position of Board Advisor at Sendoso since January 2022. Previously, Flanagan led the International HRBP function at Reddit, Inc. from July 2021 to June 2025, overseeing HR for over 400 employees across multiple countries in EMEA and APAC, while also acting as the Site Lead for Reddit Ireland. Prior to that, Flanagan was the Head of HR | International and Director of Human Resources at Wrike from February 2016 to June 2021, where leadership in HR strategy for EMEA and APAC was a key responsibility. Flanagan began their career as a Senior HR Business Partner at SQS Group and has advanced qualifications in Employment Law from The Honorable Society of King's Inns and the National College of Ireland.
