Murat Yesildal

Murat Yesildal is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing complex infrastructure and applications. Currently a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since March 2024, Murat previously held roles at Snap Inc. where significant contributions included building a high-performance data/analytics infrastructure handling trillions of events daily and designing a Graph relationship platform. Prior to that, experience at Freightgate Inc. involved developing a Rate Management System and an API for customer access, along with a responsive UI. As a co-founder of Nootrify, Murat implemented an iOS shopping app integrating with Shopify, while earlier roles at AutoPACS and MortgageCoach Inc. saw the development of medical imaging software and a mortgage planner, respectively. Murat holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from Bilkent University and attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for further education.
